April brought CPR week to the community of Muirhouse, Edinburgh! Our partners and supporters were at the Community Shop each weekday sharing the life-saving skill of CPR with locals.
Working with Link Up and TRIM (Tenants and Residents in Muirhouse and Friends of West Pilton), partners from Scottish Fire and Rescue Services Crewe Toll, Edinburgh, Police Scotland, Medical Defense Services, Scottish Ambulance Service, The Resuscitation Research Group Edinburgh, EMERGE, NHS Lothian, The Scottish Government and The British Heart Foundation Scotland worked together to support local volunteers raise awareness of Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest and to offer an opportunity to learn this simple skill.
It was a fantastic week and over 100 people stopped by to learn bystander CPR.
Well done Muirhouse!
