Heart of the Community

Local businesses band together to share CPR in their communities

Heart of the Community

Following a successful project from Hunters of Kinross, ‘Scottish Craft Butchers at the Heart of the Community’ has been launched.

This unique partnership between local businesses and Save a Life for Scotland encourages even more members of the community to step up and do CPR should they ever need to. The project is also inspiring many shops to fundraise for their own Defibrillators. We are asking members to join up and help save lives in their community. With 400 butchers within the network, the impact could be huge.

The message is simple, we need each other to be ready to do CPR if we should ever have to do it. By starting CPR you can double or even triple the chances of someone surviving and play an essential part in bringing someone back home to their loved ones.

Want to get involved? It’s easy to get started and you’re not on your own.

Email hello@savealife.scot and we can link you up with a local group who will support you in getting a defibrillator and help teach your staff and community CPR.
