We are finishing off the year with great news!

Since beginning the Save a Life for Scotland campaign in 2015, our amazing partners and supporters have equipped more than 300,000 Scottish people with CPR skills. What a milestone!

Thank you to everyone for feeding back their numbers, pushing the number of newly trained lifesavers over the 300,000 mark. We are now more than halfway to our goal of equipping an additional 500,000 people living in Scotland with CPR skills by 2020. Every person counts towards improving Scotland’s cardiac arrest survival rates so keep going!

Awesome work folks – here’s to a new year of reaching more people with the news that CPR can save a life.

Have any upcoming events? Let us know so we can help support!

“This defibrillator is available to anyone needing it, and can shock the heart into starting again after it’s stopped. Every second counts in a cardiac arrest so it’s vital that someone
can step in to perform CPR and use a defibrillator before an ambulance arrives.”

The butcher, on Broughton Street, is the first in Edinburgh to install a defib as part of the ‘Butchers at the Heart of the Community’ campaign which has already seen 40 butchers across Scotland raise funds to provide a defibrillator outside their shop
